Cummins Named Vendor Of The Year By Power Equipment Direct

Online retailer Power Equipment Direct (PED) has awarded Cummins its Vendor of the Year award for 2018.

PED has been selling Cummins electric generators since 2004, just two years after the company started operations. Its line of Cummins offerings include standby generators for the home and small businesses, as well as RV and commercial mobile generators from Cummins Onan. The manufacturer says that those product lines grew their sales considerably last year.

“Cummins employees have enjoyed watching PED grow, and we look forward to continuing our successful relationship in the many years to come,” said Cummins Regional Sales Manager for Power Generation, Mobile, and Home & Small Business, Tom Meissner.

Two Businesses

PED also sells portable generators as well as PTO tractor-driven units. Besides generators, the online retailer offers lawn mowers, HVAC equipment, water pumps, and other outdoor power equipment through 14 dedicated online stores.

PED says that its staff includes trained product experts to help customers make the right purchase. Its customer service representatives are based in the U.S.
