Each unit is rated 230 kW net AC and is capable of 400/480 V, 3-phase, 50/60 Hz operation. Mainspring’s linear-generator technology is designed for prime onsite power with 46% net AC electrical efficiency, near-zero NOx emissions, no water consumption, and no conventional engine oil system.
Fuel-flexible operation supports natural gas, biogas, hydrogen and propane blends at 5–20 psig. Units are capable of grid-parallel operation, islanding, black start, and 0–100% load following.
