About Honda

Honda started producing power equipment overseas in 1953 and created its Honda Power Equipment subsidiary in 1973 to sell generators, tillers, and outboard motors in the United States. The Georgia-based company went on to introduce water pumps in 1975, lawnmowers in 1979, and snow blowers in 1983. Honda still offers all of those products today and added trimmers and robotic mowers in the intervening years. Since it was founded, Honda Power Equipment has sold more than 40 million power products in the United States and has produced more than 100 million power products globally.
