    About Towable Generators

    Towable generators are trailer-mounted units that convert fuel into electrical power. They can be used for prime power on jobsites where electricity isn’t yet available to run lights, tools, and other equipment. You can also use them for standby power during outages.     Other safety concerns apply to generators of all types, such as only using them outdoors or in well-ventilated areas to prevent carbon monoxide inhalation. Also, bear in mind that generators need time to start up and will run well above peak power during this period, so you should wait to plug in any tools or equipment until the startup cycle is complete to prevent overloading and possible damage.
